Erap's comeback?

2010 Presidential election is getting near and every wannabies are making noise especially in the senate. With the double insertion issue to advertisement to banners...
Anyway, former president Estrada was recently touring Bohol to thanks his supporters and aligning the disunited opposition here. Who knows he will run for president a second time around? Like what Mayor Lim said "Erap's love for 'masa' is lovelier a second time around".
Should Erap run if allowed by law? I think he should not. Why? Its up to the reader to think.

Inflation makes me sick!

Last night, I was frustrated when i needed to go back in my boarding house because my money is not enough to buy 1 liter of kerosene. Why? Prices of gasoline, kerosene always Increase... increase....every week. No rollback?
Even the basic commodities like rice, noodles, sardines.I was sad since my allowance would not be enough. As a student it is hard to budget and accommodate all expenses especially if you're away from home. Like me, i just renting a room near to my school.

i just remembered when i was in first year college, 4 years back, when I can always save money from my allowance. I even travel back to my home every weekend but now once a month. No one knows how this scenario be back to normal.

CVSCAFT HYMN

I just remembered in my first year in college, we need to memorize and sing the CVSCAFT hymn. How unlucky I am, I’m not good in singing nor in memorization. But, I needed to know how to sing it or else Sir Sarigumba would give me a flying color in P.E. class. And to those who forgotten their alma mater’s hymn, better read and let your mind remember the lyrics…

Our beloved CVSCAFT, you make a difference
In the lives of young people far and wide
A system of learning with a vision
For progress and a mission to provide skills and training
For future farmers, midwives, fishery experts, traders, technologists.

Oh, beloved CVSCAFT
Let your name resound in all the lands
Heralding your traditions of quality and competitiveness
Your proud sons and daughters will always uphold the values
We love you ever now and forevermore.
Long live! CVSCAFT

Be proud cvscaftians, you are the chosen few.

Education, hard to get?

Every people wish to have a college degree, right?
It takes one’s effort to have one. Take note, no shortcut!
But before we can start the journey, financial capabilities take into account. Why? Going into college is not easy as 1 2 3. It is not like high school or even elementary years where the fees are minimal which our parents could endure. In college, thousand of pesos involved and subjects are difficult.
But don’t worry, in every problem there are solutions that suited each one of us..
For financial problems:
1.Scholarships- scholarships are given to those who have talents or exemplenary achievements during high school. Anyone could avail it from universities, colleges, government and non-government institutions but before you could have one, you need to pass their qualifying exams. A scholar receives free tuition fees, book allowance, transportation and clothing expenses.
2.Working while studying- sometimes called part time. Many establishments like Jollibee, Mac Donald, Pizzahut accept students to work part time. Even schools, they have programs like this.
3.Don't forget your family and relatives they are the number one provider of money.
4.Lastly, our Almighty Father is always listening to our request. Be guided to your journey. Trust Him.

School Friends

Without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all the goods.
 Aristotle

All of us would take different roads after elementary, high school and college. Having a family, going abroad, even death etc… We may not see each other for a long time. Others may forget us, others may not. But we still have one year to say goodbye before graduation and cherish every moment with them. Don’t forget to keep their mobile number and pictures!

I want to share to you a wonderful message from the book shoelaces...

What a joy to be with friends; how lonely and sad it would be without them.

Sometimes, it is unfortunate that as we grow to be adults we forget the importance of friends. Imagine going to a place alone by yourself. You are stuck in traffic with no one to talk to. Think of the times you were depressed, and there was no one to cheer you up and make you laugh. Recall the instances when you didn’t know what to do, and there was no one to ask advice from. You were in a mess, and nobody lent a hand for you.

The world is getting bigger for most of us – plenty of acquaintances, connections and organizations. But is this the world we wish to be in? You know many people, yet you have put up a good image, even to the point of being insincere, in order to be wanted and accepted. You deal with them in a business like fashion knowing it’s a scratch-your-back-and-I’ll-scratch-yours affair. It’s often getting to be a utilitarian kind of relationship; we need them because we want something from them, and vice-versa.
How we yearn for the times when our world was smaller, but we have a bigger circle of real friends. We can’t really expand the growth of our true selves as persons without the warm comfort of people whom we can cherish, trust, and share life with. We may have accomplished much, but we still lacking; we have gained a fortune, but we feel empty; we have travel far, but we are still searching. Ah, friends complete the beauty of being. We cannot ignore the deep longing for friends in our lives.

Where are our friends? What happened to them? Maybe, we had too many reasons. Or were excuses? Too little time for them because we are busy; too expensive to meet them; too far to reach them; and too occupied to hear them. Are we aware that even our appreciation of friends has changed over the years? We may have discovered wealth and fame, but we can’t help feeling sorry for having lost our friends. Let us ask ourselves, where are my friends of yesteryears?
